The AUDEX2ARC is a dual-purpose device. In Audio extraction mode, it extracts audio from the HDMI stream will simultaneously passing on the AV stream unmolested. The AUDEX2ARC supports the entire HDMI 2.1b format and maintains all the features associated with the format. The AUDEX2ARC has an optical S/PDIF port for multichannel audio up to Dolby Digital 5.1 Plus and an analog port for stereo output. In ARC mode, the AUDEX2ARC allows for ARC extraction from the display instead of audio extraction from the HDMI stream. This is handy for legacy soundbars and distributed audio needs.
